Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Start the Workflow

To begin, select Compare Jurisdictions from the list of workflows on the Vincent landing page.

Select 'Compare Jurisdictions' from the workflow library.

Step 2: Enter Your Question and Select Jurisdictions

In the input screen, you will need to provide two key pieces of information:

  1. Your Legal Question: Type the question you want to ask across all jurisdictions.

  2. Your Jurisdictions: Select the two or more jurisdictions you wish to compare.

Enter your question and select the jurisdictions you want to compare.

The number of jurisdictions you can compare at one time depends on your subscription level. For questions about your specific limits, please contact your account manager.

When you are ready, press the blue arrow to start your query.

Step 3: Review Your Results

Once Vincent has completed the task, the results will be displayed in two main parts:

Individual Answers

At the top, you will see a separate, detailed answer for each jurisdiction you selected. You can click Full answer to expand each one and review the short response, the detailed discussion, and the specific legal authorities used for that jurisdiction.

Comparative Analysis Table

At the bottom of the page, you will find a powerful comparative analysis table. This table provides a side-by-side summary of the key differences and similarities in the law between the selected jurisdictions, making it easy to spot crucial distinctions.

Step 4: Export Your Results

You can easily export your findings for use in your work product. Use the icons at the top right to:

  • Copy the individual answers or the final table to your clipboard.

  • Download the full analysis.
