By moving files directly cloud-to-cloud, you maintain a secure chain of custody, ensure strict data governance, and accelerate your workflow by accessing your iManage storage without leaving the Vincent interface.

Prerequisites

Before you can use this integration, two conditions must be met in the following order:

1. Admin Setup: Your firm's iManage Administrator must first authorize the "vLex - Vincent" application within the iManage Control Center.

2. Feature Activation: Once the application is authorized on your end, the iManage integration must be enabled for your vLex account. Please contact your Account Manager or our Support team to have this feature activated.

Step-by-Step Guide (For Users)

Step 1: Open the Document Uploader

In any workflow that allows document uploads (such as "Analyze a Contract" or "Collections"), click the 'Add Documents' button.

Step 2: Select iManage

From the dropdown menu, select 'Upload from iManage'.

Step 3: Authenticate

A pop-up window will appear prompting you to log in. Enter your standard iManage credentials to authorize access.

Step 4: Select and Import Files

You will see the native iManage file picker. Navigate your Matter Workspaces and folders just as you would within iManage.

1. Select the specific files or folders you wish to analyze.

2. Click Import to pull them into Vincent.

Document Volume and Performance

The iManage integration is designed to be a powerful tool for analyzing both small sets of key documents and larger volumes.

• Standard Tasks: For most workflows, importing sets of up to 50 documents at a time provides the fastest experience.

• Large-Scale Analysis: For projects involving hundreds of documents, the system can handle the request, but you may experience longer processing times.

Best Practices & Pro Tips

• Permissions Integrity: Vincent strictly adheres to iManage security policies. You will only see and be able to import documents that your iManage profile has explicit permission to access.

• One-Way Import: This is a "read-only" action. Vincent creates a copy for analysis; it does not alter, move, or delete your original source files in iManage.

Admin Instructions: Setting Up the iManage Integration

This section is for IT Administrators. To allow users to utilize this integration, you must first add the Vincent application within the iManage Control Center.

Phase 1: Adding the Application

1. Log in to your iManage Control Center.

1. In the left-hand navigation panel, scroll down to Settings and select Applications.

2. Click the + Add Application button (located in the top right) and search for vLex - Vincent AI.

2. Click Finish to confirm. Ensure that "vLex - Vincent AI" is listed in the available applications and is Enabled.

Phase 2: Verifying Access
