Why This is Important
Access to an international legal database requires powerful translation capabilities. This feature allows you to understand and analyze foreign legal documents seamlessly, saving you the time and expense of external translation services.
How to Use Translation Tools
Translating a Document You Are Viewing
Open any document.
Click the Translate icon in the top-right corner.
Select your desired language from the pop-up menu.
You can choose to view the fully translated version or select Parallel text to see the original and translated versions side-by-side for comparison.

Searching in Other Languages
You can also run searches in languages other than your default.
Go to Advanced Search.
Use the Translate search terms toggle above the word fields.
Select a target language to have your English search terms translated for the query, or leave it blank to search across all languages.

For Informational Use Only: Automated translation is a powerful research aid but should only be used to get an understanding of a document. Do not rely on this feature for final legal decisions or official filings.
