# How to Manage Your vLex Subscription

### Summary

Review your current subscription plan, access billing information, and understand your content access directly within your account settings. For any changes or upgrades, your vLex account manager is ready to assist.

### Why This is Important

Understanding your subscription ensures you are getting the most value from vLex Library. It clarifies which content is included in your plan and how to access documents that may be outside of your current subscription.

### How to View Your Subscription Details

1. Log in to your account and click the **person icon** in the top-right corner.
2. Select **Manage your account**.
3. In the left-hand column, click **Show subscriptions**.
4. A new window will open displaying your current plan, along with your bills, invoices, and credit information. You can also update your billing information from this screen.

### Best Practices & Pro Tips

* **Accessing Content Outside Your Plan:** You can search across the entire vLex database regardless of your plan. If you find a document not in your subscription, you may be able to purchase it with [Understanding and Using vLex Credits](/vlex-library/vlex-library-home/workflows-and-productivity-tools/understanding-and-using-vlex-credits.md) or find it via another source listed in the **Citations & Sources** tab.
