Run your first analysis with Vincent. This beginner's guide shows you how to ask a research question and get your first AI legal memo generator result in minutes.

Summary

Use the Browse tool to explore vLex Library's vast collection without a specific keyword search. This feature acts as an index, allowing you to navigate and drill down through content by jurisdiction, practice area, or document type.

Why This is Important

The Browse tool is essential for discovery. It helps you understand the breadth of content available for a specific jurisdiction and can uncover valuable collections or publications you might not have known existed, making your vlex legal research more comprehensive.

How to Use the Browse Tool

  1. Select Browse from the main menu on the left side of your screen.

  2. You will see a list of top-level collections for your default jurisdiction (e.g., Case Law, Legislation, Books & Journals).

  3. Click on a collection to reveal the next level of filters. An arrow icon (>) indicates that another filter level will open. A list icon indicates that clicking will take you to a results page.

  4. Continue clicking through the filters to narrow down to the specific content you need.

Use the Browse tool to drill down through categories to find relevant content.
