# How to Search Regulations and Official Gazettes (Spain)

### Summary

Find the most up-to-date Spanish legislation by accessing the official gazettes (**Diarios Oficiales**) in vLex Library. The easiest way to locate these primary source publications is by using the **Browse** tool.

### Why This is Important

Accessing official gazettes directly within vLex ensures you are relying on the most current and authoritative source for Spanish rules and regulations. This is critical for accurate legal work and for tracking new legislative developments as they are published.

### How to Find Official Gazettes

1. Select **Browse** from the main menu on the left.
2. Ensure your jurisdiction is set to **Spain**.
3. From the list of collections, select **Official Gazettes** (or a similar title like "Diarios Oficiales").
4. You will be taken to a results page where you can browse the publications or use filters to find a specific issue.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://support.vlex.com/vlex-library/vlex-library-home/jurisdiction-specific-guides/how-to-search-regulations-and-official-gazettes-spain.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
