A Guide for Administrators: Managing Your Corporate Account
A guide for vLex Library admins. Learn to manage users, view usage statistics, and configure access methods like SSO and IP authentication for your firm.
Summary
As a designated Admin User, you can manage your organization's vLex Library account, including adding or removing users, viewing usage statistics, and configuring access methods like Single Sign-On (SSO).
Why This is Important
Effective account administration ensures your entire team has seamless access to vLex Library and allows you to monitor usage to maximize the return on your investment. This guide provides a central resource for all your administrative tasks.
How to Access the Admin Menu
Log in to your account and click the person icon in the top-right corner.
Select Manage corporate accounts from the dropdown menu. This will open the admin portal with tabs for Users, Statistics, and access configuration.

Managing Users
From the Users tab, you can:
Create a single user: Click Create user and fill in their details. They will receive an email to set their password.
Create multiple users: Click Create multiple users and upload a CSV or TXT file with a list of names and emails.
Block or delete users: Select users from the list and click Block user or Delete user. Blocked users cannot log in but can be reinstated later.
Viewing Usage Statistics
From the Statistics tab, you can:
Monitor your organization's usage of vLex Library.
Generate and download reports to analyze activity over specific time periods. This is useful for understanding which content is most valuable to your team.
Providing Access (SSO and IP)
IP Access: The IP access tab shows the IP addresses assigned to your account for automatic on-site access. Contact your account manager to modify this list.
SSO Access: For Single Sign-On, contact vLex support to receive your Authentication token and Account ID. Your IT team can then use our publicly available scripts to implement SSO, providing secure and seamless access for your users.

Best Practices & Pro Tips
Use SSO for the Best Experience: We strongly recommend implementing SSO for corporate accounts. It provides users with secure, personal accounts (enabling history, alerts, etc.) without needing separate passwords.
